Hello, my name is Mrs. Dana Holland (Mrs. Holland to my students) and I'm originally from Louisiana. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Al. and I continue my learning by taking additional courses in the field of education. I believe learning is a lifelong endeavor.
After marrying my college sweetheart and living in many states over a number of years, we welcomed our firstborn son in 1998. In 2000 we relocated to the Toledo area. A year later, our daughter was welcomed into our family. Both of our children now attend Toledo Junior Academy. It is truly a blessing to have our children being educated in a wonderful Christian environment.
My hobbies include cooking, singing, and reading dramatically. Story read-aloud is my favorite time of day. Getting into character makes the reading come alive.
I began teaching Kindergarten at Toledo Junior Academy in the fall of 2002. I now teach Grades one and two as well as hold the position of Principal. My desire for the students that I have the privilege of educating is that they will accept the concept that they can do all things through Christ who gives them strength. Knowing and believing that will help them accomplish the impossible because nothing is impossible with Christ.
