Mrs. Natalie Hood
A Little About Mrs. Hood: As a former student of Toledo Junior Academy, I cannot express how proud and honored I feel to be the third and fourth grade teacher here.
I graduated from Andrews University in December of 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Language Arts, and plan on persuing a Master's degree throughout the upcoming summer months. While I am passionate about teaching, and love my career, it doesn't take long conversing with me to discover that my ultimate joy in life is spending time with my family. My husband, John, and I have been married for 5 years, and are the very proud parents to Nolan, born August 10, 2010. We enjoy spending quality time together playing, running, cooking, camping, hiking, and doing all things music.
I'm so grateful to be part of a dedicated team of colleagues, staff, and parents. We each share a vision to see every student at T.J.A succeed adademically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It truly takes a village, and I am grateful to be part of this amazing team.
When I need encouragement, I turn to my favorite text, Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV):
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
