A Little About Mrs. Natalie Hood:
As a former student of Toledo Junior Academy, I cannot express how proud and honored I feel to be the third and fourth grade teacher here.
I graduated from Andrews University in December of 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Language Arts, and will be continuing with my pursuit of a Master's degree in Literacy in the near future. I am passionate about teaching, and guiding each one of my students toward academic success while drawing them closer to Jesus is a mission I put my heart and soul into each day.
It doesn't take long conversing with me to discover that my ultimate joy in life is spending time with my family. My husband and I have two precious young children, Nolan and Callie, who fill our hearts with love and laughter, and keep us busy in the best kind of way.
I'm so grateful to be part of such a dedicated team of colleagues, staff, and parents. We each share a vision to see every student at T.J.A succeed adademically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It truly takes a village, and I am grateful to be part of this amazing team.
When I need encouragement, I turn to my favorite text, Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV):
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
